VALIC Meetings and Events 1.2

The VALIC Meetings App provides comprehensive access to detailed information for programs scheduled throughout the year. The application includes agendas, extensive descriptions of breakout sessions, speaker biographies, and session handouts. Users can easily navigate to various meeting locations, submit real-time feedback via surveys, and compile session notes for later reference. Additionally, the app is designed for future use at upcoming VALIC meetings.

While the app incorporates code supporting iBeacon technology, this functionality is currently not activated for this event. Despite the built-in iBeacon support, location services will remain disabled for this occasion. Should iBeacons be deployed in future events, their UUIDs would be retrieved from the server, and users would receive prompts to enable location services accompanied by clear explanations of how iBeacons would be used to enhance their experience. Currently, the app has the technical capacity to display location-based messages if a user is near an iBeacon, but such features are not active at this time.
